005 - "I wouldn't mind doing that again, George"

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
I can't believe that it's been ten years since we lost George Harrison. Well, we didn't really lose him. We still have his music and the sweet, often funny things he said. But there's a hole in the world where he used to be, you know?

I've been playing loud Beatles and George music for hours. "Here Comes The Sun" is my favorite Beatles song, period.

004 - some kinda wicked influence

Have any of you guys been watching the new ABC show, Pan Am? At first, I wasn't that into it, but now I am OBSESSED. I want to live in the 60s and be a stewardess, but at the same time I'm so, so glad that I'm a dentist in 2011. TV can make anything seem glamorous and exciting.

Plus, one of the girls is a spy. That's so bad ass. And probably not that realistic, but she is my new idol.

Is anyone planning a Halloween party this year? I'm not sure if anyone's into the holiday, after everything scary that happened. But that familiar chill is in the air now and I'd really love to bob for some apples.

Oh my god, I never realized how weird that sounds until I just wrote it.

It's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to!
Cry if I want to!
Cry if I want to!

Actually, I don't want to cry. Maybe next year. This year, I just want cake. Or maybe cupcakes.

001 - Early reputation for deviousness

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Slow day today, so I pretty much binged on daytime talk shows while I cleaned. I have this problem where, if I watch a lot of talk shows, I end up wanting to interview people and/or be interviewed. That's weird, isn't it? Yeah, that's definitely weird.

I can't really change the channel, though. Talk shows are good for waiting rooms. Who wants to watch CNN or something and get all depressed while waiting for fillings?
